The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, a campaign to raise awareness and funds for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) research, has been making its way around local news stations, social media and finally hit Shenandoah Valley Academy (SVA) in New Market, Va.

“Highland View Academy [HVA] has all the critical resources to be a highly successful school in the early 21st century,” says Malcolm Hutchinson, EdD, (pictured) about why he accepted the call to be HVA’s new principal.
